$24,000 to $30,000 Annually Depending on Education and Experience
Schedule:
Full Time
Objective of position:
Develop and lead a team of early childhood professionals in providing quality services in accordance with the policies and practices of Tresco, laws, regulations and administrative rulings of governmental organizations and other regulatory and advisory authorities and organizations.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Assure timely and accurate development of IFSP s in conjunction with Early Intervention Team. Monitor and oversee Center and Home Based Services. Supervise, mentor and evaluate staff. Assure compliance with procedures and processes for billing, budgeting and inventory. Establish, coordinate, and maintain community partnering, opportunities, processes, events and activities. Coordinate promote, and participate in public relations and outreach activities. Exhibit organizational, leadership, problem solving and critical thinking skills. Maintain working and practical knowledge of local and state community resources. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, multi-task and provide excellent customer service. Demonstrate ability to network with community agencies and service providers. Possess basic computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, databases and use of spreadsheets. Valid driver s license in state where residing. Insurable by Tresco s automobile insurance carrier. Maintain vehicle insurance as per State law where residing.
Educational requirements and
Experience:
Bachelor s Degree from an accredited university with a minimum of 20 hours of coursework in one of the following related fields Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Nursing, Social Work, Family Counseling/mental health or related field. Two years experience working in an early childhood setting and knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice for infants and toddlers with a minimum one year progressive supervisory or mentoring experience. Bi-lingual (Spanish) oral and written communication skills strongly preferred.
